Lee, where is your stand?

Former Gerakan deputy secretary-general Lee Kah Choon accepted the directorship of the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) and InvestPenang.

For those who saw this, whoever didn’t feel that there is something wrong with this decision, it is fine.

After 308, they all feel sad, including Lee. After that, he was like moving around with our x-CM to visit the members and leaders in other states, and off course, he offer some ideas and willing to grow Gerakan. Then before our x-CM to reply him or want a further discussion with him, the next day he strait away resigned all the positions that he hold. Even never talk or discuss with anyone before.

Ok, fair enough.

After that, most of the people out there are looking for his next move in this political field. Will he left Gerakan? Will he aiming to be the next chairman of Gerakan? Or even next CM? How many of us here expected that he will accept the offer by Penang Government (or should we say it more precisely, by DAP)?

Finally, he decided to accept, but still, he is a member of Gerakan! Imagine this: your family business is the top 3 in this world; would you rather let your son to work for the other top 3 company (it’s an open enemy / competitor)? For comment sense, no, right? If yes, but what for?

Lee was saying that it’s to serve the people better. It’s fine. If you think where you stand now unable for you to grow, just leave the place and look for another better opportunity. I don’t see a reason why he still kept as a member but not willing to contribute to what he keep, but to work for others. It shows that he is just too individualism. With such a characteristic, do you still think that he’s a good leader? Maybe yes, but not in Gerakan anymore.

There is no right or wrong on this matter, just which as an experience politician, Lee should make his stand clearly, and should not put Gerakan into dilemma position. After all, he was trained by Gerakan. If not Gerakan, will he be able to walk till this step so far?

Please think carefully, Lee. If not, you are just like to commit suicide, in this political field.
